Book swap reminder again. [Jan. 10th, 2007|12:06 pm]

Book swap this evening, 7pm–10pm. You don't have to bring books. You don't have to take away books. (Though obv. you will probably get more use out of the evening if you do one or the other.) You can come just for a chat, and to see people.

(I am cooking, not reading livejournal, so I haven't seen anything you may or may not have posted on your own journal regarding tonight; comments on this post, or email, or phone, are the most effective ways to contact me this afternoon.)

I am intending to come over but may not be present for all that long as I am feeling a bit under the weather :-/

I will however do a quick sweep of the shelves & see what I can bring with me :-)

I fear you may end up with many books left over, since we too plan to bring books and not take them away.

I plan to do neither, but not-bringing will require less willpower.

Sorry dude, by the afternoon had developed whacking cramps and when I got home I was feeling really ouchy. How did it go?? I still have my pile of books sitting ready by my bed but just couldn't make it out.

Aw, poor you. It went pretty well! I think almost as many books got taken away as brought, though it's hard to tell since there were two boxes full left over from the last one, and I haven't packed all the leftovers away again yet. Will post at greater length at some point, probably once I've written up the recipes and such (the food seemed quite popular). Next one in April, I think.

I am excited!

and I will most definitely get this evil essay finished before tonight, and possibly a couple of readings, or I will eat my head and not go.

I'm not up to journeying down to SE16 this evening, but I hope it's a great success :)

I have a meeting that may drag on 'til 9PM, but will still try to get there.

I have books to swap: spare copies of 'Excession' by Ian Banks, 'Zodiac' by Neal Stephenson, 'Feet of Clay' by Pterry, and 'Sabre Squadron' by Cameron Spence.

I am planning to attend; not sure yet what time I'll get there or which books I might bring, but I will bring your popcorn book.
