Sorry dude, by the afternoon had developed whacking cramps and when I got home I was feeling really ouchy. How did it go?? I still have my pile of books sitting ready by my bed but just couldn't make it out.

Aw, poor you. It went pretty well! I think almost as many books got taken away as brought, though it's hard to tell since there were two boxes full left over from the last one, and I haven't packed all the leftovers away again yet. Will post at greater length at some point, probably once I've written up the recipes and such (the food seemed quite popular). Next one in April, I think.

and I will most definitely get this evil essay finished before tonight, and possibly a couple of readings, or I will eat my head and not go.

I have books to swap: spare copies of 'Excession' by Ian Banks, 'Zodiac' by Neal Stephenson, 'Feet of Clay' by Pterry, and 'Sabre Squadron' by Cameron Spence.

I am planning to attend; not sure yet what time I'll get there or which books I might bring, but I will bring your popcorn book.
